More news coming soon.... but DAMN im glad to be typing to you all. After a horrible experience that is continuing at the hands of the justice system in NW COLORADO. I feel like the world has stopped on me, and thousands of others in my position for this one particular cause, and I will not let marijuana reform go if its the last thing i do, and i hope others in the same position feel this way too. Its the only way we WILL change insane laws where marijuana charges could land you up to 30 years in Prison, like my situation.

I will get some more news as soon as i can spill it..... INCLUDING possibly telling our story in Cannabis Culture. Marc Emery has ALWAYS BEEN supportive of JDR, and every mj cause ive ever talked with him about. A TRUE soldier and freedom fighter he is, i cant say enough about Marc...BUT

Bottom line is this, John Doe was involved in a RAID by a COLORADO Drug Task Force named ACET, formerly named GRAMNET. You may have heard of these people and the wasteful group because THEY broke the law and got away with it. The group was caught spending taxpayers dollars campaigning AGAINST Colorado's Amendment 44 last year that would have legalized marijuana for adults in this state. They still have not fully complied with SAFER's open records request regarding this matter btw. The task force raided our legal grow, and now patients are without medicine, and www.JohnDoeRadio.com is stalled for new shows because of all the computers and equipment seized by this task force. They took EVERYTHING, and could care less. I'll have more to say about this in a sec here but we NEED your help.

This situation has made me even more convinced that we are brutally, and purposely punishing innocent people for so called crimes that most of the nation agrees are not crimes. Live and let live. And lets concentrate on the real problems at hand. Like getting proper treatment for drug users across the board. And not sending them to jail to become tortured, and hardened criminals. Because torture is spending time in a place you just don't deserve, like the thousands and thousands of people behind bars for marijuana related offenses right now. Are they really the violent criminals the justice system feels they are? You have to tell some people this answer, and tell them over and over again, and its sad that some believe they are still violent criminals.

Its up to you to change that thinking, and the insane laws we have created.
And its not that hard to make a difference, even if you don't think you can.

Pot Compound Protective Against âMad Cowâ Disease, Other Fatal Brain Disorders, Study Says
Valbonne, France: The administration of the nonpsychoactive cannabinoid cannabidiol (CBD) inhibits prion accumulation in the brain and protects neurons against prion toxicity, according to preclinical data published in the September 5th edition of the Journal of Neuroscience.



So its now proven Pot can protect you if you are about to be poisoned! lol.

Prion accumulation (the accumulation of abnormal, protein-based infectious particles in the brain) is the cause of various transmissible, fatal neurodegenerative diseases in both humans and animals â including bovine spongiform encephalopathy (commonly known as âMad Cowâ disease) and Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease. No therapeutic treatments for prion-diseases are currently available.
Investigators at the National Center for Scientific Research in France reported that the administration of CBD "limited the cerebral accumulation of protease-resistant prion protein and significantly increased the survival time" in a dose-dependent manner in animals infected with a strain of prion disease.


They try to explain this below, basically its a bunch of science jargon that says proteins produced or left by marijuana allow for the protection of other proteins that are attacked by certain diseases, like Mad Cow.


"Our results suggest that CBD may protect neurons against the multiple molecular and cellular factors involved in the different steps of the neurodegenerative process, which takes place during prion infection," authors concluded. "When combined with its ability to target the brain and its lack of toxic side effects, CBD may represent a promising new anti-prion drug." Well really?!?!


More interesting info below, now why wont the mainstream pick up on this, would people really believe it!?!? Soon enough....

Previous preclinical studies of CBD have shown the compound to inhibit malignant cancer cell growth and, "this is what gets me, we can even help alchys with MARIJUANA derivitives....." protect neurons against alcohol-induced brain damage.
Other studies have demonstrated that cannabinoids can delay disease progression in animal models of several neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimerâs disease, multiple sclerosis, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrigâs disease).


SO UMMM?? IM fucking confused?!?! We can help cancer and severely ill patients recover or improve their quality of life... and we refuse to do it... This is a violation of human rights. And its OUTRAGEOUS!!! YOU SHOULD BE OUTRAGED AND DOWN RIGHT HURT ABOUT THIS PEOPLE!!!!

California: Hemp Cultivation Bill Sent To Governor
Sacramento, CA: California legislators approved bi-partisan legislation this week defining industrial hemp as an "agricultural field crop" and establishing regulations governing its cultivation by state-authorized farmers. Assembly Bill 684 â known as the California Industrial Hemp Farming Act of 2007 â now awaits action from Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger (R).
Under the measure, the legislature would institute a pilot program permitting farmers to cultivate hemp in four California counties: Imperial, Kings, Mendocino, and Yolo. The proposal defines hemp as varieties of cannabis containing less than 0.3 percent THC (the primary psychoactive compound in marijuana). Farmers would be required by law to submit random samples of their plants to an authorized laboratory to assure that their crop does not contain greater THC potencies.
Industrial hemp is currently grown commercially in Canada and in the European Union for its fiber content. According to a 2005 Congressional Research Service (CRS) report, the United States is the only developed nation that fails to cultivate the plant as an economic crop.


This is funny, all because we are soooooo scared of the big bad weed!!!!


Governor Schwarzenegger vetoed a similar bill last year, citing concerns that the measure could negatively impact law enforcement efforts prohibiting the recreational use of marijuana.
A statewide telephone poll performed earlier this year by Zogby International found that 71 percent of Californians supported allowing authorized farmers legal access to cultivate the crop.

Tens Of Thousands Expected To Attend Boston âFreedom Rallyâ This Saturday "we be jammin'" at JDR

Boston, MA: Event organizers expect nearly 50,000 attendees for Saturdayâs 18th annual âBoston Freedom Rally,â taking place at the Parkman Bandstand on the Boston Common at âhigh noon.â Sponsored by the Massachusetts Cannabis Reform Coalition/NORML (MassCann/NORML), the event is the largest marijuana law reform gathering on the east coast.
NORML Executive Director Allen St. Pierre and NORML founder Keith Stroup will speak at the event. Representatives from High Times Magazine, Common Sense for Drug Policy, Students for Sensible Drug Policy, and the Drug Policy Alliance will also appear.
